As a Website designer, I always tell my customers that every one works on a budget and your website should very quickly inform them if you have products that match their budget.

The only time you will not publish your price on the website is when you are providing customised service solutions. Even in those website designs you should provide information like Value for Money to point to the visitor is that your solution provides the best value for their buck. 

A lot of cheap website designers will give you contradictory advice (and I must admit that I have done the same) about descriptions and pictures. Cheap website designers will mention that you that any website should have a brief description about your product and image of your product and nothing more as people don't have enough time to spend on your website. And I do tend to agree with them. You should also realise that a serious shopper might want more information than that. The best Website Developer to tackle both sort of customer is to have a cheap website design where visitors are presented with a thumbnail and introductory text and price of your product with link to details page. Visitors who want more information that just brief introduction will click on the details page and read about it.

Also ensure that on every product related page there is a buy now button for people to click on so that it makes it easy for your customers to buy your product.
